October 7, 2022: Lake, MS 39092 The Lake Hornets football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Newton Tigers to 18 in the Hornets league win on Friday.
The Hornets now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Philadelphia for a 2A Region 5 battle on Thursday, October 13. Lake will play a Tornadoes squad coming off a 54-24 league win over Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 2-5.
