October 7, 2022: Marathon, WI 54448 The Marathon Red Raiders football team (Marathon, WI), was beaten 36-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Pittsville Panthers (Pittsville, WI)
The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI). The Falcons come into the Marawood challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Abbotsford was beaten by Colby (Colby, WI), 55-14, in a league challenge.
The Red Raiders now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edgar for a Marawood challenge on Friday, October 14. Marathon will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 21-14 league win over Auburndale (Auburndale, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.
