Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Rhinelander Hodags (Rhinelander, WI), 32-8 in a league test.

With the triumph, Merrill improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Mosinee (Mosinee, WI) to battle the Indians in a Great Northern test on Friday, October 14. The Indians come into the test with a record of 6-1. Mosinee won 42-28 in their recent league test against Medford (Medford, WI)

With the loss, Rhinelander drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Hodags travel to Lakeland (Minocqua, WI) to battle the Thunderbirds in a Great Northern test on Friday, October 14. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 4-4. Lakeland won 21-7 in their recent league test against Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles (Hayward, WI)
