The South Platte Blue Knights thwarted the host Minatare Indians football team by a count of 38-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, South Platte upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Blue Knights travel to Banner County (Harrisburg, NE) to encounter the Wildcats in a D6 District 5 (6 Man) outing on Friday, October 14. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Banner County lost 58-8 in their recent league outing against Garden County (Oshkosh, NE)

With the loss, Minatare moves to 1-5 on the season. The Indians host Crawford (Crawford, NE) to encounter the Rams in a D6 District 6 (6 Man) outing on Friday, October 14.
