With the triumph, Wylie improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Rider (Wichita Falls, TX) to battle the Raiders in a 5A-2 Region I District 2 test on Thursday, October 13. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 4-2. Rider won 51-21 in their recent non-league test against Cooper (Abilene, TX)
With the loss, Plainview drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lubbock (Lubbock, TX) to meet the Westerners in a 5A-2 Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, October 14. The Westerners come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Lubbock lost 70-0 in their recent league challenge against Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX)
