The Woodgrove Wolverines held off the visiting Riverside Ram football team by a count of 20-13 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Woodgrove upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA) to confront the Panthers in a Potomac outing on Friday, October 14. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Potomac Falls lost 33-21 in their recent league outing against Independence (Ashburn, VA)

With the loss, Riverside moves to 1-6 on the season. The Ram travel to Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, October 21. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 6-1.
