October 7, 2022: Lincolnton, NC In Friday's league contest, the Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders (Lincolnton, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves (Waynesville, NC), by a margin of 3-1.
With the loss, Haywood Christian Academy drops to 12-6 on the campaign. The Red wolves host Challenger (Hickory, NC) to battle the Firebirds in a Western Piedmont Athletic contest on Monday, October 10. The Firebirds come into the contest with a record of 9-5. Challenger won 3-1 in their recent league contest against The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC)
