The Milton Academy Mustangs football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Thayer Academy Tigers to 20 in the Mustangs league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Governor's Academy for a Independent School ISL-7 battle on Saturday, October 14. Milton Academy will play a Governors squad coming off a 43-27 league loss to Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA). The Governors record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Lawrence Academy Spartans (Groton, MA) in a Independent School ISL-7 contest, on Saturday, October 14. Thayer Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 34-0 non-league win over St. George's (Middletown, RI).
