In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Southern Indians football squad scored a good 46-36 victory over the Valley Christian Eagles.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the David Anderson Blue Devils (Lisbon, OH) in a Eastern Ohio match, on Friday, October 13. Southern will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.
