West Virginia High School Football - Barnesville gets by John Marshall
October 7, 2023: Glen Dale, WV 26038 The Barnesville Shamrocks football team scored 14 points and held the host John Marshall Monarchs to 7 in the Shamrocks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Shamrocks (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Edison (Richmond, OH). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Edison was tipped by East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH), 32-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Monarchs now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brooke for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 16. John Marshall will meet a Bruins team coming off a 34-16 league loss to Beaver (Lisbon, OH). The Bruins record now stands at 2-3.
