Colorado High School Football - Centaurus held off by Liberty
October 7, 2023: Lafayette, CO 80026 Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the host Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO), 15-8 in a league test.
With the triumph, Liberty improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, October 14. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 3-5. Thomas Jefferson lost 33-24 in their recent league test against Montbello (Denver, CO)
With the loss, Centaurus drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Gateway (Aurora, CO) to battle the Olympians in a non-league test on Saturday, October 28. The Olympians come into the test with a record of 0-0.
