October 7, 2023: Carthage, MO 64836 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Father Tolton (Columbia, MO), by a margin of 20-8.
With the triumph, Carthage moves its record to 15-14 on the year. The Tigers host Joplin (Joplin, MO) to play the Eagles in a Class 4 District 12 contest on Thursday, October 12. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 12-12. Joplin won 5-0 in their recent non-league contest against Waynesville (Waynesville, MO)
In their next game, the play the Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 9. Father Tolton will attempt to move on its 25-10 season record. The Kewpies come into the contest with a 4-18 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Blair Oaks (Jefferson City, MO).
