In Saturday's non-league contest, the Carmel Greyhounds (Carmel, IN) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Greyhounds face the Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 7. Carmel will attempt to better on its 14-16 season record. The Highlanders go into the contest with a 19-8 record after their 3-2 non-league win over North Oldham (Goshen, KY).

With the loss, Brownstown Central moves to 17-12 on the year. The Braves travel to Henryville (Henryville, IN) to face the Hornets in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Hornets go into the contest with a record of 7-20. Henryville lost 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Southwestern (Hanover, IN)
