California High School Volleyball - Calabasas over Burroughs
October 7, 2023: Calabasas, CA 91302 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA) and the visiting Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA), saw Calabasas's volleyball squad beat Burroughs by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Calabasas upgrades its record to 5-18 on the year. The Coyotes travel to Agoura (Agoura, CA) to play the Chargers in a Marmonte bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Agoura lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA)
The Bears now own a 13-14 record. They play next when they travel to Camarillo for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Burroughs will play a Scorpions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Scorpions record now stands at 8-12.
