October 7, 2023: Cary, IL 60013 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Schaumburg Saxons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cary-Grove Trojans.
The Saxons (16-8) will now prepare for their battle against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Grant Community defeated Antioch (Antioch, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Trojans encounter the Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Cary-Grove will attempt to move on its 3-24 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 10-12 record after their 2-0 league loss to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL).
