October 7, 2023: Waterville, MN 56096 The Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Faribault Falcons to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Buccaneers now have a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Como Park for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 league loss to St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 8-9.
The Falcons (5-15) will now prepare for their game against Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Maranatha Christian Academy gained a win over New Life Academy (Woodbury, MN), 3-2, in a league game.
