The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA) and the host James River HomeSchool Eagles (Chesterfield, VA), saw Virginia Academy's volleyball squad beat James River HomeSchool by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Virginia Academy upgrades its record to 29-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA) to play the Tempest in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Tempest go into the bout with a record of 9-4.
