October 7, 2023: Garden Grove, CA 92843 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Jurupa Valley Jaguars (Jurupa Valley, CA) and the host Santiago Cavaliers (Garden Grove, CA), saw Jurupa Valley's volleyball squad beat Santiago by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Jurupa Valley upgrades its record to 25-3 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Pacific (San Bernardino, CA) to play the Pirates in a Mountain Valley bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Pacific lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Miller (Fontana, CA)
The Cavaliers now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Sierra Vista for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Santiago will play a Dons squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Azusa (Azusa, CA). The Dons record now stands at 13-15.
