California High School Volleyball - South tips Liberty
October 7, 2023: Bakersfield, CA 93312 The South Spartans (Torrance, CA) volleyball tipped the host Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, South upgrades its record to 18-12 on the year. The Spartans host North (Torrance, CA) to play the Saxons in a Pioneer outing on Tuesday, October 10. The Saxons go into the outing with a record of 20-10. North lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Corona (Corona, CA)
The Patriots now own a 24-8 record. They play next when they host Stockdale for a South Yosemite River outing on Tuesday, October 10. Liberty will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Centennial (Bakersfield, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 20-9.
