The Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA) volleyball overcame the host Tokay Tigers (Lodi, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Newark Memorial upgrades its record to 6-17 on the year. The Cougars travel to West (Tracy, CA) to face the Wolfpack in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 7. The Wolfpack go into the outing with a record of 1-20. West lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against St. Mary's (Stockton, CA)
