October 7, 2024: Richmond, VA 23233 Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Godwin advances its record to 7-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 8-5. Atlee won 3-2 in their recent league test against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA)
The Mustangs now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henrico for a Capital test on Tuesday, October 8. Mechanicsville will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Varina (Richmond, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-6.
