Washington High School Football - Davenport thwarted by Liberty
October 7, 2024: Davenport, WA 99122 Liberty Lancers (Spangle, WA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA), 26-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Liberty improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lancers host Colfax (Colfax, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 15. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 4-0.
The Gorillas now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Kettle Falls for a non-league battle on Monday, October 14. Davenport will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to Reardan (Reardan, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
