October 7, 2024: Independence, VA 24348 The crowd at Monday's non-league contest between the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) and the host Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), witnessed Fort Chiswell's football squad knock off Grayson County by a tally of 30-14.
The Pioneers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Auburn gained a win over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA), 54-0, in a non-league contest.
