South Dakota High School Volleyball - Elkton/Lake Benton can't get by Garretson
October 7, 2024: Elkton, SD 57026 Garretson Blue Dragons (Garretson, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Elkton/Lake Benton Elks (Elkton, SD), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Garretson improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Blue Dragons host St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD) to face the Cardinals in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 14-3. St. Mary won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Castlewood (Castlewood, SD)
The Elks now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deubrook for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. Elkton/Lake Benton will face a Dolphins squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Milbank (Milbank, SD). The Dolphins record now stands at 13-9.
