October 7, 2024: South Riding, VA 20152 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) and the visiting John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA), observed Freedom's volleyball team top John Champe by a count of 3-1.
The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gainesville (Gainesville, VA). The Cardinals enter the Cedar Run contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Gainesville was knocked off by Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Knights battle the Dominion Titans (Sterling, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 8. John Champe will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Titans enter the contest with a 14-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA).
