October 7, 2024: Middletown, DE 19709 St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Georges Tech improves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Hawks travel to Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE) to face the Jaguars in a Blue Hen - Flight A test on Wednesday, October 9. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 7-1. Appoquinimink won 3-0 in their recent league test against Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE)
The Warriors now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilmington Friends for a Independent - DISC test on Thursday, October 10. Sanford will face a Quakers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Tatnall (Wilmington, DE). The Quakers record now stands at 6-3.
