Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Albany Academy Bears (Albany, NY), 6-0 in a league bout.

The Sabres now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk for a Colonial Council bout on Thursday, October 9. Schalmont will play a Ravens squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Lansingburgh (Troy, NY). The Ravens record now stands at 8-5.
