Tennessee High School Soccer - Clinton holds off Claiborne
October 7, 2025: Clinton, TN 37716 Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Claiborne Bulldogs (New Tazewell, TN), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Clinton improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Dragons travel to Scott (Huntsville, TN) to play the Highlanders in a AA District 4 outing on Monday, October 13. The Highlanders go into the outing with a record of 2-10. Scott lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Halls (Knoxville, TN)
The Bulldogs (2-12) will now prepare for their game against Grainger (Rutledge, TN). The Grizzlies come into the AA District 2 game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Grainger Union County (Maynardville, TN), 1-1, in a non-league game.
