The South Cougars (Salina, KS) soccer nipped the visiting Derby Panthers (Derby, KS), 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Cougars now hold a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Center for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I contest on Thursday, October 9.
