Virginia High School Soccer - Flint Hill held off by Springdale Prep
October 7, 2025: Oakton, VA 22124 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Springdale Prep Lions (New Windsor, MD) soccer team edged the host Flint Hill Huskies (Oakton, VA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Lions now hold a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Musselman for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. Springdale Prep will encounter a Applemen squad coming off a 1-1 league Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV). The Applemen record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Flint Hill moves to 1-6 on the year. The Huskies travel to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC) to encounter the Quakers in a MAC challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Quakers go into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Sidwell Friends won 2-1 in their recent league contest against Potomac School (McLean, VA)
