October 7, 2025: Rochester, IL 62563 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) and the visiting Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL), saw Rochester's soccer squad prevail over Pleasant Plains by a count of 5-1.
The Rockets (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Crimsons enter the Central State Eight battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Jacksonville tipped Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL), 8-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Cardinals meet the Athens/Greenview/Illini Central Warriors (Athens, IL) in a Sangamo match, on Thursday, October 9. Pleasant Plains will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record.
