Virginia High School Volleyball - Briar Woods winner over Loudoun Valley
October 7, 2025: Ashburn, VA 20148 Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Briar Woods advances its record to 8-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA) to face the Panthers in a Potomac test on Thursday, October 9. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 12-3. Potomac Falls won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Lightridge (Aldie, VA)
Next, the Vikings play the Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Loudoun Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Heritage (Leesburg, VA).
