Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) and the host Caliche Buffaloes (Iliff, CO), observed Sedgwick County's volleyball team top Caliche by a count of 3-0.

The Cougars (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Idalia (Idalia, CO). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Idalia achieved victory over Genoa-Hugo/Karval (Hugo, CO), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Buffaloes now own a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flagler for a non-league battle on Friday, October 10. Caliche will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Genoa-Hugo/Karval (Hugo, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 9-3.
