Michigan High School Volleyball - Central over Covert
October 7, 2025: Battle Creek, MI 49017 The Central Bearcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Covert Bulldogs to 0 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now have a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Norrix for a Southwest Michigan - East outing on Wednesday, October 8. Central will play a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Knights record now stands at 11-19.
With the loss, Covert drops to 0-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Benton Harbor (Benton Harbor, MI) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, October 9. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 1-6. Benton Harbor lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Hillsdale Academy (Hillsdale, MI)
