The Hinsdale South Hornets were victorious over the host Leyden Eagles volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Hornets now have a 14-15 record. They play next when they host Willowbrook for a West Suburban- Gold outing on Tuesday, October 14.

With the loss, Leyden drops to 4-20 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to play the Falcons in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 8. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 13-11. Wheaton North lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Batavia (Batavia, IL)
