The Central Springs Panthers football team (Manly, IA), was ripped 47-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA)

The Falcons (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs come into the 1A District 3 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, East Marshall was ripped by South Hardin (Eldora, IA), 40-7, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Dike-New Hartford for a 1A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 15. Central Springs will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 35-10 league win over Denver (Denver, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-0.
