The Forbush Falcons football team (East Bend, NC), was tipped 17-12 in Friday's league challenge with the host Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC)

The Golden Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings come into the 2A West Conference 37 challenge with a 1-4 record.

The Falcons now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host East Surry for a 2A West Conference 37 challenge on Friday, October 15. Forbush will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 56-22 league win over North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-0.
