Virginia High School Football - Godwin drops to Lake Taylor
October 8, 2021: Norfolk, VA 23502 In Friday's non-league game, the Lake Taylor Titans (Norfolk, VA) football team knocked off the visiting Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA), by a score of 33-14.
The Titans (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Truckers come into the Eastern game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Churchland was dropped by Maury (Norfolk, VA), 48-13, in a league game.
The Eagles now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Marshall for a Colonial game on Friday, October 8. Godwin will battle a Justices team coming off a 54-0 league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Justices record now stands at 0-4.
