October 8, 2021: Park Ridge, IL 60068 The Maine East Blue Demons football team (Park Ridge, IL), was ripped 48-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL)
The Giants (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Cougars come into the Central Suburban - North challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Vernon Hills trounced Niles North (Skokie, IL), 28-7, in a league challenge.
The Blue Demons now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deerfield for a Central Suburban - North challenge on Friday, October 15. Maine East will meet a Warriors team coming off a 44-14 league win over Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
