The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) and the host Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH), observed Hoover's football squad edge Lake by a tally of 21-19.

The Vikings now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Green for a Federal contest on Friday, October 15. Hoover will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 28-0 league win over Perry (Massillon, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.

Coming up next, the Blue Streaks play the Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH) in a Federal contest, on Friday, October 15. Lake will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 28-0 league loss to Green (Uniontown, OH).
