Washington, DC High School Soccer - Wilson knocks off Sidwell Friends
October 8, 2021: Washington, DC 20016 Wilson Tigers (Washington, DC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the Bell Griffins (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA challenge, on Wednesday, October 13. Wilson will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Griffins enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Capital City Public Charter School (Washington, DC).
The Quakers now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Andrew's Episcopal for a MAC challenge on Tuesday, October 12. Sidwell Friends will face a Lions team coming off a 1-0 league win over Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
