October 8, 2021: Keams Canyon, AZ 86034 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Shonto Prep Grizzlies (Shonto, AZ) and the host Hopi Bruins (Keams Canyon, AZ), saw Shonto Prep's volleyball squad nip Hopi by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Shonto Prep upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to St. Michael (St. Michaels, AZ) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, October 8. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 6-5. St. Michael lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ)
The Bruins now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Pinon for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 12. Hopi will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Ganado (Ganado, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
