October 8, 2022: Providence, RI 02906 Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) fans left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their football team run past the host Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 35-6 in a league test.
With the win, Smithfield improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Sentinels host Tiverton (Tiverton, RI) to confront the Tigers in a Division IV test on Friday, October 14. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 2-2. Tiverton lost 33-14 in their recent league test against Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout (West Greenwich, RI)
With the loss, Hope moves to 0-5 on the season. The Blue wave host Plainfield (Central Village, CT) to confront the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 15. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-3. Plainfield lost 24-12 in their recent non-league test against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT)
