New York High School Soccer - Stillwater held off by AuSable Valley
October 8, 2022: Clintonville, NY 12924 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY) and the visiting Stillwater Warriors (Stillwater, NY), saw AuSable Valley's soccer squad get by Stillwater by a count of 4-3.
The Patriots now hold a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Plattsburgh for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 12. AuSable Valley will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Stillwater drops to 7-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Hoosic Valley (Schaghticoke, NY) to meet the Indians in a Wasaren test on Tuesday, October 11. The Indians come into the test with a record of 2-5.
