New York High School Soccer - Naples nudges Wayland-Cohocton
October 8, 2022: Wayland, NY 14572 Naples Big Green Machines (Naples, NY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Wayland-Cohocton Eagles (Wayland, NY), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Big Green Machines confront the Bradford Central Braves (Bradford, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Naples will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Honeoye (Honeoye, NY).
The Eagles now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Livonia for a Livingston - Division I challenge on Monday, October 10. Wayland-Cohocton will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Haverling (Bath, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
