October 8, 2022: New Hartford, NY 13413 Vestal Golden Bears (Vestal, NY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Bears face the Corning-Painted Post Hawks (Corning, NY) in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference (STAC) challenge, on Monday, October 10. Vestal will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Elmira (Elmira, NY).
The Spartans now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Proctor for a TVL East challenge on Tuesday, October 11.
