The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles volleyball team (Washington, DC), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD)

The Mustangs (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 17-0 record. In their last challenge, Flint Hill defeated Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Mount Airy Christian Academy (Mount Airy, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will attempt to move on its 13-10 season record. The come into the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD).
