California High School Volleyball - Point Loma tips Palo Verde
October 8, 2022: San Diego, CA 92106 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV), saw Point Loma's volleyball squad nip Palo Verde by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Point Loma upgrades its record to 17-10 on the year. The Pointers travel to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA) to play the Dons in a City - Western bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 30-0. Cathedral Catholic won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE)
The Panthers now own a 17-10 record. They play next when they host Green Valley for a 5A South - Desert bout on Tuesday, October 11. Palo Verde will play a Gators squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Foothill (Henderson, NV). The Gators record now stands at 12-14.
