New Jersey High School Soccer - Belleville toppled by Cedar Grove
October 8, 2024: Cedar Grove, NJ 07009 Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Belleville Buccaneers (Belleville, NJ), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cedar Grove advances its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 3-8. Lakeland Regional lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ)
The Buccaneers now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Glen Ridge for a non-league test on Monday, October 14. Belleville will clash with a Ridgers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 8-3.
