Maryland High School Soccer - Thomas Stone toppled by Leonardtown
October 8, 2024: Leonardtown, MD 20650 Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), 11-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Leonardtown advances its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 9. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-0.
The Cougars now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lackey for a Southern Maryland test on Thursday, October 10. Thomas Stone will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Northern (Owings, MD). The Chargers record now stands at 1-8.
